Scrappinmoms Idol 2008
Last October 4, 2008 was the finals of the Scrappinmoms Idol 2008.
I went to Manila to witness the Top 10 Idol finalists compete for the crown. I stayed at Cookie’s house in Pasay. I had a lot of fun playing with Harvey (kulit!). I arrived Oct 3, a day early because oct 3 is my friend’s birthday and I want to be there for his birthday. I meet up with my College friends Francis (birthday boy), Jen and my new friend Allyn. I am happy to see them again!
Oct 4, the idols finals. Cookie and I went to Makati Med first because she has an appointment to his doctor. And then we dropped by Harvey’s school for the parent teacher meeting. And then we went to Greenhills for the Scrappinmoms Idol Finals. Cookie is one of the finalists. After registering myself, I went shopping and took lots of photos of the event. I really had fun! Thank God I am not one of the finalists. I observed that they are too pressured on that day because they are only allowed to scrap for 3 hours! I just talked to friends whom I only “see” in the cyberspace world. And now I can put a face on those names! It was nice to finally meet Gracie, Tna, Romely, Yoyin, Candy, Shine and Honey. And see my old pals again like Lee, Cookie, Alby, Donna, Liaa, Cabbie, Issa, Mel, Au, Nita, Tin, Marian, LB Scrapaholics Ate Cors, Chiqui, Helga, Ate Liezel, Timi, Ytet, Scrappinmoms Pia, Ria, Liza and April. And to all who I forgot to mention… I had a great time with you all! Sulit yung punta ko ng Manila dahil sa inyo!

I went home last Sunday evening through Philtranco Bus. And arrived at 3am (which is way too early since I usually arrive at 5am. The bus driver is too fast!) and I am happy to be home and see my dear husband again!
I would like to thank Scrappinmoms for making this event possible. I enjoyed it so much! I salute you guys for all the hard work you are putting on events like this! Bow talaga ako sa inyo!
If time permits me I will surely go to Manila again and attend events like this!

Last Round
Whew! Submitted my Week #6 entry yesterday. Thank God I finished my entry! I was cramming yesterday already in finishing my LO. I never submit my LO a day before the deadline. The last round was really a hard one! Grabeh! Naloka ako!I never wish to belong to the finalists but if given the chance then I am happy.
I can’t wait for the announcement of who will move to the next round. Moving or not I will attend the Oct 4 event in greenhills. I will just wait for the announcement tomorrow, I just need to finish browsing this auto insurance quotes because my cousin is asking me a favor of researching on this one.
Nothing
No entry still for the Week #6 round of the Scrappinmoms Idol. I might do it tomorrow since I am here at my parents house. I will be sleeping here because Jun will be going to manila today. And I also don’t have any materials here. huhuhuuh! This is already cramming to me! I need to finish it tomorrow or else I will be out of the Contest. I am having a hard time on my journaling. I don’t know what to answer to the question: “Why Do I Deserve to be the Next Scrappin’ Moms Idol?” because I really don’t have a plans on being a scrappinmoms idol.
I better think of what to journal on my entry now but first I need to finish researching on a good work holding because hubby is asking me to. Later!
Idol Update
Guess what I haven’t done my Week #6 entry for the Scrappinmoms Idol! Waaaahhhh!!! I am having a hard time on this round. I haven’t printed my photo for this, no plans/concept on the LO, no materials yet, nothing! Waaaahhh!! Even if the deadline will still be on Thursday I am cramming already! I need to work on this tonight and I need to print my photo now!
So I’ll be back later!
Moving to Week #6
I am moving to week #6!!!! Weeeee!!!
This is exciting! One more round and it will be Idol Finals. I am not expecting to be one of the finalists because finalist or not I will go to Manila for the Oct 4 event. And with that I am a winner already. Going to Manila and meet my scrapping friends is such a great prize for me. I am happy already. So Good Luck to my 13 co-participants and We can do this! Aja!

Supersize It Week!
I am done with the Week #5 entry to the scrappinmoms Idol 2008. Whew! This round is very hard for me. I didn’t even understand the asymmetrical balance thing. LOL! When I am creating a page I didn’t even take note if my LO is balanced or not. I just cut paste the photos and embellishments to my page if it is ok to my eyes. So I did my page and hoping that I did the right thing. I am crossing my page right now and this will be until tomorrow for the announcement of the participants who are moving to the next round.

Submitted my Week #4 Entry
… yesterday. I hope my LO was fine and meets the requirements. The challenges are getting tougher each week and I am so nervous if I meet the requirements. I don’t want to be eliminated, I enjoy doing pressure works. hahahah! This week is all about popping page and a page all about us the historians, the storytellers and the artist. I made a girly LO today. Will link you up to the gallery as soon as it is already uploaded. I think they are going to reveal the Week #4 entries on Friday. For sure you will be inspired by the wonderful creations of my co-participants. They are amazing I tell you!

Scrappinmoms Idol 2
Yes. I joined the challenge. I joined because I want to do more paper scraps. I miss doing what I loved first… Paper scrapping. I noticed that I was neglecting my first love so this will make me use those materials of mine which is gathering dust on our bedroom. And I just wanna have fun on this challenge. No pressure. No expectations. I am not for the prize nor the recognition. I just want to scrap. I can scrap more if I am challenged so this is the perfect tie for me.
