Washi Tapes

Washi-Tape1

Often called wasabi tape by mistake, washi tape does originate from Japan, so we can see how the two terms are easily confused! But, washi tape has nothing to do with the spicy condiment that you eat with your sushi. The best way we can describe washi tape is that it feels like masking tape — very, very pretty masking tape. It’s made of paper, but is not as delicate as you would expect. Plus, it comes in patterns and designs that will make even the most dedicated crafters swoon and varying widths to allow you to create some fun and intricate washi tape designs.

Washi tape is typically made from natural fibers, such as bamboo or hemp, but most commonly from the bark of trees that are native to Japan — the mulberry, the mitsumata shrub or the gampi tree. Most washi tapes are strong (as strong as duct tape in some cases!) and functional as well as pretty, making them wonderful for both everyday and decorative use.

Seafoam-32-590x393

If ever I will dive into Project Life next year I will get the Seafoam kit or one of the to be released kits this coming May. I’ve seen them at Becky Higgins’ blog and they are yummy! Lots of new goodies for PL! Yey! I am so excited! Are you doing project Life too? I need to know more about this project.

Crop-A-Dile Corner Chomper Tool

I want this tool:

I’ve been wanting to buy this tool for the longest time. But since I stopped paper scrapping I forgot that I want to own this tool. And now that my friends are into project life I saw this tool again when a friend linked this one in the fb group. Oh my I so want this! I asked a friend if she can buy this for me too. i hope I have money already by that time.

I am slowly building up my stash again for project life that I want to try next year. I am already itching to shop but money is limited at this moment so I have to hold back. Window shopping will do for now.

Project Life

BeckyHiggins-ProjectLife-logo I’ve been meaning to start one this year but I planned late so next year again maybe. I have no materials to start so its a no no this year. I will invest on materials and start next year. I hope to get the PL core kit at a discount as well. Will hunt SALE now. Will save up as well so I can get the one that fits my photos. Wish me luck!

8 Unfinished Pages

I have 8 unfinished paper scrapbook pages on my scrap area. Woot! After a long time I am finally using my supplies again! I just miss my first love… paper scrapping.

I haven’t have time to finish one as they are work in progress. I still need to print photos and put journaling. And I am adding a few more embellishments. I hope I can share it with you soon. Will take a picture of my work area later.

I can’t wait to share it here!

For Sale… Soon!

I have been seeing a lot of scrapping friends on Facebook de-cluttering and selling their extra scrap supplies. I am thinking of selling mine too instead of just gathering dust on my scrap area. It is time to let them go. I know someone will use them on their beautiful scrap pages. Will post here or on my facebook.

Ok, I will have to check out some custom name badges as my sister will need it for her office soon. Gotta help my sis find one and then i am off to sort my scrap supplies. Later!

A Page For Hans

I need to create a paper scrapbook page for my boy for his baptism next next week. Will put it on his dessert table to show it off. But I can’t find time to gather supplies and draft my layout. I hope to scrap soon. Time is running out. I need to frame it after I finish doing it. Ugh! Time where are you!?

Selling My Stuff Soon

I am thinking of selling some of my scrap supplies soon. It is just gathering dust on the cabinet anyways. It’s been a while since I paper scrapped. And i am sad that I cannot find time to do a page now. I think I am a digi convert now. But I will still keep some supplies as I want to scrap a few photos of Cate and her little brother. And the photo of hubby looking at his dream motorcycle exhaust systems needs to be scrapped. You all should see his face in that photo. Totally hilarious!

Blade Replacement

I am here browsing some galleries and drooling on gorgeous LOs of my favorite scrappers. I am planning on paper scrapping when we get home. I am looking forward to paper scrapping again. I hope I will have time to gather all the supplies and really start scrapping. And now I remember I need to get a new blades for my paper cutter. My old one needs replacement. Now where can I get one? Off to search the web again. Bye!

Custom Stamps

Cat_Engineer&ArchitectSelf-Inking_Stock_Stamps

I am not much of a stamper. The reason is, I don’t have that much stamps on my stash. Either it is too expensive for me or the design that I want I not available locally. Sometimes to get the design that I want, I ask our local stamp maker for some custom stamps. But I admit the quality is really poor. It is still best to buy those stamps that are made by company that really make stamps. You’ll never regret on how it was made and how good is the quality of the stamps. I have a few and I am so happy with it.

I was looking for some discount stamps over at StamXpress as they offer custom stamps which I can design on their online store. I wanted to go back to scrapping soon and stamps are what I want to invest in. The signature stamps on their site is really nice. I want to get one of those too. But first I need to save up as these scrapping tools are not that cheap. But a very nice investment in scrapping. You can do so much in stamps.

StampXpress is offering a free shipping on all order $10 above, so grab the chance and start hoarding, I mean shopping. =)

Will check the site now too. Let’s go!
