Merry Christmas!

DSC_2968 copy

I know my greetings is late. Sorry!

So how did you celebrate your Christmas? Mine was a simple but happy one. I spent it with my family and the family of my husband on the 25th. We had Noche Buena on Christmas eve along with the gift giving and opening of gifts. I got what I wanted (dad filled my request of giving me a new computer chair, which I am sitting on right now) and celebrated the birth of Jesus with my loved ones.

I hope yours was a happy one.

Merry Christmas and a Happy New Year everyone!

Yomega

I am now done shopping for gifts for Christmas. All of my gift list are accomplished. Yay me! I only knew about yomega just now. I wish we have that here at the mall. I was thinking the other day on what to give to my 5 year old nephew.  And this was the perfect gift for him.

I got him a pair of new sandals instead. I hope he will like it anyway.

So are you done with your Christmas shopping? I hope you are because the rush will surely make you dizzy. I promise myself to do my Christmas shopping early next year. I hate cramming!

Prayers for CDO

Have you heard about what happened to CDO and to other parts of Mindanao? They were badly hit by typhoon Sendong. Nearly 600 dead and missing. I am so sad about this and I hope there will be help offered now there. I heard the news and they said some need roadside assistance for those travelling to the evacuation. I wish I can help by being a volunteer but I can’t. I am pregnant and I am miles away from there. I don’t have money right now too to help financially. =( My prayers is the only thing I can offer now. Let us all pray. God Bless us all!

It has been 4 months

It has been 4 months I think since I paper scrapped. And did I shared that layout that I did for Cate’s 1st birthday? I think I haven’t shared it here yet. I am just looking for that on my EHD. Will share soon.

I am here on my working area, near my scrap supplies. I can see them if I look to the right. I wonder when will be the time to use them again. I really hope soon. Or maybe before my little boy says Hello World. Or else it will take me years again to paper scrap again.  I am keeping my fingers crossed that I will have time and mojo to scrap a page. A simple one will do.

Christmas Shopping on a Budget

With all the bills that we needed to pay for the past few months, I’ve decided to shop within a budget for the Christmas this year. It’s going to be tough having two kids soon. Aside from the immunization and other health stuff, of course I need to consider other things like our daily needs and supplies. So even if it’s hard to shop within a budget, I have to stick to my word and stand up for it.

How do I shop within a budget, anyway? First I need to list down all the things that I need for the holidays. I have to take note that these are needs so the list includes, gifts to give out to family and friends, giveaways, budget for the parties and get together. I need to list down everything and try not to miss out something so I would know how much I should save for the budget. As much as possible, it would be best to save for the holidays, months before, to make sure that I have cash on hand for the said expenses. Next step, try not to use the credit card. I’ve heard a lot of stories of people drowning in debts and I wouldn’t want that to happen to us. It is easier to use the “plastic” when you are at the mall but the bills would eventually come out after a month. And that problem will have to be solved! Lastly, have fun! Even if I have a budget to set, I still make sure that I have fun because after all, shopping is always FUN no matter what! Well, for me, that is!

To a Healthy Me!

It’s late already and here I am still reading about the opiate detox.  I need this information for my detox after I give birth. I need to be healthy for my babies. I need to take care of myself now. I don’t want to regret in the end. I hope I will at least lessen all the garbage on my body. haha! I am only 28 and I think it is never too late to start being healthy. Way to go me! Woot!

Proud to be SAHM!

I wonder what my life would be if I am working right now. And I am thinking of what job would that be? Maybe my simple dream of having those Ticketing Agent Jobs will change what I am right now. Yes it is my dream to work as a ticketing agent. I am not that much of a talkative person but I am sure I can also convince customers to buy tickets from me. hehe!

I will surely have 2 helpers in our house if I am working. I won’t have all the energy to take care of my daughter and the house plus being a wife to my husband if I am working full time. I need help now what more if I am working? Sigh! This is the reason why I am thankful I am a stay at home mom.
